Big Suit, a Talking Heads tribute band, is the headliner band on the 95.9 The River stage. The evening kicks off with opening band Pearl Jam Tribute-Chicago. Addison restaurants will sell food and beer and wine will be available. Car and motorcycle cruise night will be held along Army Trail Road east of May Street. The Addison Historical Museum will hold an open house and craft fair until 8 p.m., and 19th century blacksmithing will be demonstrate

Elmhurst College Arboretum Tour

The Elmhurst Cool Cities Coalition and Elmhurst College will host an evening walking tour of the Elmhurst College arboretum campus. A living museum of almost 900 trees representing more than 160 species, the arboretum encompasses Elmhurst College’s entire 48-acre campus, and has won Level II Accreditation from the Morton Register of Arboreta and Tree Campus USA designation from the Arbor Day Foundation.

An Evening with Artist Thomas Dambo

Danish artist Thomas Dambo will talk about his career turning “trash” into inspirational art and the environmental messages he conveys through his large-scale sculptures. He is the creator of the Troll Hunt exhibition currently on display at the arboretum.

June 15

Vintage Rides Car Show
6-9 p.m.
Hale Street between Liberty and Willow in downtown Wheaton
Free

Stroll through Downtown Wheaton to enjoy seeing classic cars, motorcycles and trucks of every make, model and year. Spectators will admire cars from Model Ts to Teslas. Every show, a DJ spins tunes. The music this night will feature movie theme songs.

Concert on the Green

Bring sports chairs, blankets, coolers, food and beverages for a relaxing night out with your neighbors and friends. Rock band, The Hat Guys, will perform.

June 15-16

Naper Nights Summer Concert Series

Naper Settlement, 523 Webster St., Naperville
$15 adults, $10 children

Rock out to great music and dance the night away on Naper Settlement’s beautiful 12-acre grounds. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. June 15 performers will be The Pettybreakers, a Tom Petty tribute band, and Wall of Denial, a Stevie Ray Vaughn tribute band. June 16 performers will be Old Shoe featuring Lowdown Brass Band, a Paul Simon tribute band, and Tom Thumb’s Band, a Bob Dylan tribute band.

At this French-style open air market, customers will find fresh local produce, bread, cheese, meat, flowers, artisan foods and crafts, clothing, jewelry and gifts for the home sold by local vendors in open air pavilions.

June Jazz with John Pizzarelli

Elmhurst College Mall, 190 S. Prospect, Elmhurst

Jazz guitarist John Pizzarelli, whose interpretations of the Great American Songbook have been credited with renewing the popularity of jazz, and the renowned Elmhurst College Jazz Band will perform at the 23rd annual June Jazz event. Beyond the standards of Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mercer and Nat King Cole, Pizzarelli’s expansive repertoire includes the music of Paul McCartney, Antonio Carlos Jobim and Joni Mitchell.

June 19

Summer Concert Series
7 p.m.

Classic Blast, a group that plays pop and rock on classical instruments, will perform. Food, wine and beer will be sold starting at 6 p.m.

Concert on the Commons

The Petra van Nuis Quartet will play jazz. Picnics are encouraged, but alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
