GERMANTOWN HILLS – The Woodford County Republican Party will hold its District 2 Days event in conjunction with the Great Oaks Church on Rt. 116 in Germantown Hills on Saturday August 25. The Great Oaks Church will have fun events and family play day going on also. Come out enjoy the day find out who is running in District 2.

The purpose of the District Day event is to bring understanding on where the State and local Republican party stands on issues. Some of the local candidates for the upcoming election will be available to talk. On site voter registration will be available; one does not need to declare a party to register. Voter requirements: Must be a US Citizen, 18 years of age by Election Day and a resident of his/her voting precinct 30 days prior to the election. Those wishing to register should have proof of address and 2 forms of ID, one being a picture ID.
