Illinois State Police Troop 4 Commander, Capt. Dustin Geier has announced the results of Nighttime Enforcement patrols in Tazewell and Knox counties during December.

The NITE patrols allowed the ISP to focus on preventing, detecting, and taking enforcement action in response to impaired driving and occupant restraint violations especially between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Citations were issued for:

• Driving under the influence: 0
• Other alcohol/drug citations: 1
• Driver’s license: 3
• Insurance: 4
• Total citations: 28
• Total written warnings: 24
