Peoria – The new state-of-the-art OSF Center for Health – Glen Park, at 5114 N. Glen Park Place (west of N. University off of Glen Avenue) is set to open its doors after nearly 19 months of construction. The Center is holding a Blessing and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, June 12, at 11:00 A.M. Tours and refreshments immediately following the ceremony.
Speakers include: Sister Judith Ann, O.S.F., Chairperson, OSF HealthCare; Keith Steffen, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center Administrator and Jim Ardis, Mayor of Peoria.
The project pumped $18 million into the local economy and expanded the building to 53,000 square feet. Designed by Architectural Design Group, PJ Hoerr served as general contractor.
The Glen Park campus consists of three buildings with 24 Primary Care doctors and is home to: OSF Medical Group Glen Park Family Medicine, OSFMG Allergy/Immunology, OSFMG Glen Park Internal Medicine, OSGMF Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, OSFMG Endocrinology, Joslin Diabetes Center-Affiliate at OSF HealthCare, Natural Family Planning Center, Diagnostic Services including Open MRI, CT, Ultrasound, EKG, Lab and Screening Mammography, PromptCare for walk in minor illness and injury, and Adult After Hours Clinic.
The campus will be fully operational by the end of June, with PromptCare opening June 20. PromptCare North – on Executive Drive – closes June 19th and reopens the 20th at the new location.
A Community Open House will be held at OSF Center for Health – Glen Park on Sunday, June 14, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.
