Elmhurst got the jump on St. Patrick’s Day activities Saturday, March 9 with its annual parade down Spring Road.

From bandana-wearing dogs to marching York Dukes, there was plenty of wearing of the green at the Elmhurst event, which has become the second largest St. Patrick’s parade in the state.

Elmhurst police said the event went off without incident.

Drummers in the York High School band keep the beat along the parade route.
