Art Opening: A Lasting Mark at Fermilab

Fermilab continues its 50-year anniversary celebration with work from the artist who helped give Fermilab its visual identity, artist Angela Gonzales. Founding director Robert Wilson picked Gonzales to help create a visual identity for Fermilab. “A Lasting Mark: Artist Angela Gonzales at Fermilab, 1967-1998” showcases her bold, inspiring work over 31 years at the lab. The exhibit will run through Sept. Free and open to the public.

Two Brothers Summer Festival

An annual craft beer and music fes-tival raises money for local charities such as Make-A-Wish Illinois and Giant Steps. Entering its ninth year, the event is held at RiverEdge Park in Aurora, IL, the festival features its biggest music and beer lineup yet.

Movie in the Park at Phillips Sled Hill

Features Hollywood hit films, including recent releases, on an outdoor jumbo screen every other Saturday night in June, July, and Au-gust at 8 pm. Series opens with : Moana. Movies will be shown on the jumbo screen adjacent to the sledding hill next to the Phillips Park Aquatic Center, 1150 Howell Place in Aurora.
