Golf Magazine has ranked Orchard Valley Golf Course as the 7th best public golf course in Illinois in its “Best Courses Near You” feature as part of the magazine’s annual “Top 100 Public Access Courses in America” ratings.

“It’s quite an honor for Orchard Valley to be classified among the best golf courses in the state,” said head pro Tom Tierney. “With so many exceptional golf courses in Illinois – particularly in and around the Chicago area – the high rating speaks to the quality of the golf experience at Orchard Valley.”
Orchard Valley also was awarded a 4-star rating by Golf Digest in its 2008-09 edition of “Best Places to Play.” The annual guidebook rates nearly 6,000 golf courses in North America and is evaluated by more than 20,000 Golf Digest readers.
This was the 16th consecutive year Orchard Valley has received a rating of four stars or higher, dating to its opening in 1993.
